I rode the MARC train into DC with Tom years ago and am glad we were able to remain friends all of this time. I will miss his stories, wisdom, sarcasm, and our many lunch outings with my son. I learned so much from him and my son will cherish the mini-library of books Tom gave him on special occasions or just because he found another one he might enjoy. He was so thoughtful and funny and his love for animals was one of a kind, as was he. My thoughts go out to April and the rest of the family. RIP my dear friend.

I simply adored Mr. Blakey. We worked together many years to TNR the cats on his property. His kindness to me and animals was immense. He always had amazing stories and humor. It was an honor to know him and Mrs. An honor to call him my friend. Deepest sympathy to his family.
